Peacocks are a symbol of beauty, rebirth, wealth, power, and divinity. The peacock is the national bird of India. This mandala is designed to resemble its tail plumage. Made from double knit wool of various green, blue and white shades, this crocheted mandala could be used as a table centre piece, under a plant pot or vase or mounted for wall decor.

I have crocheted this item from double knit yarn in bottle green, lime green, navy, aqua and ice white. It has been lightly starched and blocked. This is a finished item, not the pattern. The original design is called “Peacock feather mandala” by Tally’s craft.

This item is surface/spot or very gentle hand wash only and will need reshaping whilst dried flat.

As the item will have to be folded when posted it may require a gentle low heat ironing whilst placed under a clean cloth on arrival.
