My love of creating started in September 2021 with a crochet course and never stopped! Handmade jewellery and accessories followed.
Hello, and a warm welcome. My name is Sonia (also known as MaroonSnail). This shop name is just a memorable anagram of my name! I don't particularly care for maroon snails (although I appreciate they are important in some ecosystem somewhere). I'm not to be confused for maroon nails either - in fact my favourite colour is really blue.
I like both buying supplies and selling my creations, but, as you probably know, the costs of selling, materials and postage/packing, mean that I’m simply grateful if I recoup my costs and allow you to have a little joy from my items. I can't really say I've developed a specific niche in the market yet but you could call this an eclectic collection inspired by whatever I'm into at the time.
Everything in the shop is handmade by me. The jewellery, keyrings, wine charms and bookmarks are also designed by me. I like to design and put together things from what I’ve bought on Etsy, elsewhere, and from my craft cupboard. I enjoy sharing these with you and really hope you like them too.
