Shades of purple and green mandala doily table mat. Crocheted 12" centrepiece handmade. Textured finished item with puffs & shell border.

Made from double knit wool remnants of bright mid green, purple, lilac, pistachio, and white shades, this crocheted mandala could be used as a table centre piece, under a plant pot or vase or mounted for wall decor. The colours are very similar to those of the All England Tennis Club and sum up summer memories of the Wimbledon Championship. Note: some of the later photos have come out a bit too pink but show the detail. The last photo shows the reverse side.

I have crocheted this item from mostly cotton and some acrylic yarn. It has been lightly starched and blocked to enhance the shell edge. The original design is called “Tyrande” by Mimzan.

This item is surface or very gentle hand wash only and will need reshaping whilst dried flat.

As the item will have to be folded when posted it may require a gentle low heat ironing whilst placed under a clean cloth.

This mandala doily is 31cm (approx 12 inches) in diameter.
