This blue fortune cat (Maneki Neko) bracelet is full of auspicious symbols from Chinese and Japanese culture to bring you good luck in fortune, health and love.

Lucky cats originated in Japan and are common in many Asian countries with the term "Maneki Neko" meaning "Beckoning Cat". The central feature is a 1.5cm porcelain fortune cat bead and there are two other lucky cat silver tone charms (see close up collage photo of the 3 cats).

There are 27 charms on this loaded bracelet and amongst these are also the following:

- Goldfish charm: A symbol of prosperity

- Monkey charm: For a long life and intelligence

- Turtle bead: For endurance, luck, wisdom and money

- Fan charm: A feng shui symbol to ward off bad luck and negativity

- Rhinestone butterfly: A symbol of transformation, freedom and joy

- 2 blossom charms representing the national flowers of China and Japan (plum blossom and cherry blossom/sakura)

- 11 millefiore beads (flowers, hearts, circles, chips)

- Crystal drop beads

- Clear glass cube bead

- Cat’s eye bead

- Handmade bead dangles including firepolish and crackle glass beads.

The bracelet is silver plated* and adjustable between 7-8 inches (17cm to 20cm). The charms are not silver plated but silver tone alloy (Tibetan) or enamel. I have handwired all the beads and assembled the bracelet to give it an eclectic look. This is a limited addition, not to be repeated, with only seven of this blue version ever made.
